Designed by famed Renaissance architect Filippo Brunelleschi as a palace for the Guintini family, the structure that houses the St. Regis Florence dates to the early 15th century. It was was first converted into a hotel in the mid-18th century, when the entire city of Florence underwent a major renovation.

Overlooking the Arno River and steps away from the Uffizi Gallery, Academia, and other iconic landmarks, the St. Regis Florence emblemizes the city's rich history.
